The Dance Out of StepA Poem by JayJayBlueHaving to accept that your life has changed and that you must adjust to new and uncertain circumstances
Each cloud passes
And forms a different picture I pretend that they're all my friends Each shape sinister or romantic Sometimes I just feel toxic Take the light Let it dim before your eyes This romance At the end of it's half-life What is here But a stepless dance Sweet surrender Bitter memory It's all the end of me Silence me babe And paint for us a new reality I foresaw the troubles with my friends Foresworn to end my tiring light Assassinate me tonight Steal the form Drop it over and past the void The citadel Terminate the empire What remains But the ghosts in their place? Sweet hellfire What's it to be? It'll be the death of me
