Where The Celestial Begins

Where The Celestial Begins

A Poem by JayJayBlue
"

About being able to move on from something that was a major part of your life

"
Answer the call
To a knock that was always silent
The lights are dimming and the home is empty
There's no one remaining to answer the door

Somewhere, in an abandoned place
Is scratching and clawing at imagined walls
Missing the chance to change
So there she remains, still estranged

I can't handle the loss, the cooling of the fire
Where the heart stops and the celestial begins
I'll gladly let the poison in

Remove the boundaries
I've missed every opportunity
The time is slipping away, the world fades
And I'm approaching this event's horizon

Nowhere, Nowhere left to crawl away to
The walls are narrowing now
Too late, no time left to change
Forgotten in purgatory, eternally estranged

I can't handle the loss, the darkening of my eyes
Where the heart stops and the celestial begins
I'll devour every sin

Waving goodbye, but with voices and faces redacted
There's not a trace, not a hint of a reaction
The tides separate our two worlds
Now I can finally prepare for death

That's quite a sombre write, Jay.

I was drawn in from the first stanza and could understand the feelings of wanting to end it all.
I hope that whatever it is, you've been able to move on from it.
