An old-fashioned ode to meeting someone you fall in love with

I'm high on my instincts
I'm living for the rush to survive
I'm out of reach but somehow still standing
She's smiling me and now we're dancing
I don't know what to say
We don't know how to act
All we can do is gesture amongst the noise
Pull another face and start to laugh

She's telling me her secrets
But I'm losing her voice in the music
Maybe I can write my feelings down
Show her she's the light of the town
There's something I wanna tell her
But I don't know how to express
Maybe she wants to just leave
Maybe she's expressing an interest

But I'll take a risk
And begin to pull her in
I feel her fall into me
And we'll leave together
I make no promises
Of falling in love forever

I'm alright but we're feeling wild
And the music pulsates in time
Will I ever see her again
Will I escape with her tonight
There's something she's telling me
Something she wants to express
She wants to come away with me
And now I know I feel blessed

I'm fine and I'm alive with fireworks
Cascading happiness from heaven's arc

There's a direction we're heading to
There's a tide that's taking us
Is it that we're just drunk?
Or are we really falling in love

But I'll take a risk

Wonderful! It has this blissful, innocent feeling that, to me, speaks of love like a blooming flower instead of a steamy red room. lol The only thing I'd say is to read through it, out loud, and take out the words you can do without.
