My ProjectA Poem by JayJayBlueAbout how a man who creates a world by accident at first regrets his creation, but sees that there's hope
I'm scared of the world
Chaos overlapping the steady patterns I've drawn The mess I've made The creatures I've unleashed Already a monster, barely born In the nascent years there's anger Adrenaline rushing through wild veins The errors in design The choices they make And somehow I'm to blame I've got to depart the world And find myself a new life Let them fend for themselves And tear themselves apart I refuse to be a sacrifice Over two thousand years later Still chaotic but there's hope in the ruin The mess I've made Anger reigns but hope endures Maybe they can fight through it In their elder years there's wisdom But evil fights to take the throne Maybe there's a chance The good can come through And wash away this damaged home I've got to depart the world And find myself a new life Let them fend for themselves And tear themselves apart I refuse to be a sacrifice © 2014 JayJayBlue |
