About how it is possible to both hate and love someone at the same time

I can't find my bearings 

As I take another shot to the skull

Stepping out into the harsher light

I see you for the very first time

More precious than gold

And all clichés I can use

Where ever she walks

Our hearts are hers to lose

And to tear and break

Now wrap me in the rest of the spider's web

I feel and see the beauty in death

Captivating with destructive flirtation

Drawing in ice and shrapnel with every breath

My reality takes a shift onto dangerous ground

My logic evaporates in the wake of the charge

Lightning bolts shooting through my spine

I feel awake for the very first time

More sinister than shadows

And all the horrors she can conjure

Where ever she walks

Engulfed in lightning and thunder

To destroy and to remove

Now wrap me in the rest of the spider's web

I feel and see the beauty in death

Captivating with destructive flirtation

Drawing in ice and shrapnel with every breath
