A Broken HeavenA Poem by JayJayBlueAbout how people will do/follow what is detrimental to themselvesTo walk with me is to dwell in pain I can only damage what you have built Are you trying to mould me to your plans As I pull you with me, down into the sands I'm better off knowing I can't changeI'm tired of people saying I can still be saved All I want is to be loved for my failure To my instincts, I'm still enslaved And I'm always looking for an escape To condemn myself in karma's eyes again I'm a mess, ostracised, sent to the wilderness I'm not ready to make myself human again To tie myself to a normal fate To hold me is to feel the cold of winter I will only break what you've strove to mend I'm nothing but the ending of an idea I'm the embodiment of all your fears I sing songs, not of love but of true ideas Don't believe I'll be yours for a second Give up the idea of us in paradise I only want a broken vision of heaven And I'm always looking for an escape To condemn myself in karma's eyes again I'm a mess, ostracised, sent to the wilderness I'm not ready to make myself human again To tie myself to a normal fate © 2013 JayJayBlueReviews
