Opening A Wretched HeartA Poem by JayJayBlueAbout being in love with someone else
I hold your hand
But I'm avoiding your gaze Instead I'm intertwining in my dreams Being at one with another She loves me in a way you'll never know And I wish I could find the words to tell you But I'm stalling for time before I let you go Before all of my sorrows overflow I'm kissing you but my eyes are open wide Staring at her on the other side You can keep what's left of my withering morality She has all of my heart and soul I look at her Innocence masks the longing Instead I'm kissing her in my dreams I'm with you, a hollow sense of belonging She adores me in a way you can't describe I feel a sense of kindness for you But I can't fall in love with you this time My heart isn't yours, no placation to confide I'm kissing you but my eyes are open wide Staring at her on the other side You can keep what's left of my withering morality She has all of my heart and soul © 2013 JayJayBlueReviews
