How people feel the need to put themselves on a pedestal and reduce the value of everyone else to zero

Judging by the flow, it's perfect for the song, and I think that's it's purpose being written. Nice work..

Like some other people said here, this could be easily made into a song especially because of the "What do you say? / Leaving me in a legacy of pain / What do you say? / They never liked me anyway" bit, that could works good as both chorus and closer of the poem.
