My Hero

 

I walk along beside him,
taking three steps to his one.
Just trying to keep up
because he's so much fun.

I want to do as he does,
so I follow where he goes.
And do my best to learn
everything he knows.

In life he is my hero,
for there's nothing he can't do.
Daddy, when I grow up,
I want to be like you.
