Metals

Metals

A Poem by Jasper
"

The first love poem i wrote for him.

"
Maybe it's because you're worth more than metal
Whether it's copper or nickel or gold
but, point is, I know a lot of precious words
and not a single one
comes close to capture your
loveliness
because you are like the morning light
and golden hours
to catch you in anything other than a sunbeam
would be silly
you, my love
can only be experienced

Author's Note

Jasper
I couldn't think of a word beautiful enough to describe him on it's own. So I wrote a poem to try to encapsulate his radiance. Hope you liked it :)
