Winter's Embrace

Winter's Embrace

A Story by Jaweena...Eileen Quintana
"

I love the winter.

"
Mother Earth has chosen to wear her pristine white blanket of snow

wrapped and bundled in winters embrace

She slumbers deeply in quiet darkness protecting the fragile seeds within her

Lulled by the steady breathing from denning animals succumbing to drowsy rest

She sleeps....

I feel her as she is in her winter dream ~

The great thing about sleep is that everything eventualy wakes up. Nature's way--it can't be improved on.
