S**t Happens

S**t Happens

A Poem by Jay Writesgood

S**t happens

we all know that

car crashes

we all saw one

War clashes

we all know one

once there was a lonley gnome

which searched for its home

he carried a pot of gold

with an iron ball

he called hope

this iron ball had a map

with a house delight

which he found in the pot of gold

For years he searched for this home

not knowing that, that ball was the gold

that pot of gold was fake

and the story imprinted on it says

whoever finds this pot of gold

and takes care of it and uses it wisely

a home will be awarded for which only a

lone wanderer will find this treasure.

The gnome read the storie the same day he found the gold

and forever searhced for this home

with endless hope

the gnome walks and walks

searching for the real treasure wrote on that pot of gold

no friends or foes

no gain or loss

this gnome wanders alone

from bar to bar

from house to house

but one night in a bar

hes pot of gold was stolen

desperetly he ran behind these thieves

for hes treasure reachive

he was lead to a dark alley

where no man dares to walk in

but the gnome dindt know

so he bravely jumped in

no light could be seen

not even the thieves could he see

for hours without turning back he ran

determined to get hes gold back

he never gave up

untill a light he saw

the light was atractive and bright

he never felt so alive

in fact

hes life was never stroked by a light so bright

not even the suns might

the gnome reached the light

and a evergreen field

he find himself in

all he could see

tall trees

tall grass

tall mountains

he loves the scene

a big house he can see

its really familiar for him

he realise its the house on the iron ball

he calls hope

S**t happens,

But dont lose hope...

honestly, i loved this to put it simply. it wasn't eloquent but well written and clearly got a across. the flow was great (only because i was like singing it in my head like an idiot). the diction was impeccable :) great job :)
