So many things

So many things

A Poem by Owlman
"

Poem I did, 2012, I did not look over it, it is what it is. Memorial for those we lost on 9/11.

"

With the strange smell of an indescribable incense,

She loses herself in all of her senses.

The oceans waves beat against his heart,

He thinks of all he has lost.

A girl stands in the town square,

Seeing so many people stare.

The cat stretches out its paws,

And in that moment the world comes to a pause.

"Mommy where is daddy?",

"Happy that’s where he is dear."

"Now come along there’s nothing to see here,"

Says an officer with eyes wet from tears.

Why did they do it?

They didn’t seem to care.

Fear.

But we shouldn't worry, we Americans persevere.
