between borders

between borders

A Poem by J

presume to say all indifference is shallow
or that closeness breeds a certain shade of

suffering

held to the light, no microscope or firm thesis
gives any fuller clarity than the language of

hope

ripened by the rays of the sun, cherry-burnt,
these arms are in tune with the ache of

flight

sprayed with the verdant rush to believe
all is pure and white, voluminous and

heaving

technically clever but more so, imaginative and beautiful in the use of a single word between stanzas - especially the final one or, perhaps, the second one ..
