Little Versus Big

Little Versus Big

A Chapter by Charles Petrie
"

He'd be a fool to fight him wouldn't he?

"

"Ha ha ha! You wouldn't dare strike me Henry Hilden The Third. You are weak and pathetic. But even if you did, you couldn't hope to hurt me. Just look at me, how impressive I am...and you, the exact opposite. So go ahead, give me a reason to beat you down."

Noerdeber smiled
And Kobus worried
For what what if
The human fool
Did as Beredin hoped
And was laid out
As hard as he knew
That Beredin could strike
Why then he'd be dead
And Kobus feared from out of that
Would only happen bad

"You're right Beredin, I am much less than you. And you are much bigger than me. I'd be a fool to strike at you, knowing you will swat me down like a gnat."

"Words of wisdom springing from your stupid human lips Henry? A pity, I had so hoped to have a reason to strike you down."

And Kobus breathed a sigh of relief. There wouldn't be that dreaded fight.
