"Sire, if I may?" And Kobus sought to be the voice of reason, more for the benefit of the human, than of Beredin, but it would benefit him as well unfortunately.
"No, you may not Kobus, do not interrupt me when I am righteously enraged at a human and the best getter in need of being reigned in. So be thankful you are not the focus of my ire."
Henry but sat upon the grass
Rubbing his jaw ruefully
Fighting back tears
That a which
He could hope to hide
From Noerdeber's keenly seeing eyes
"You wish to cry stupid human? So much for your spark, I must have been foolish to see anything of the same kind that I know to be in Beredin." Noerdeber paused and looked to Beredin. "My apologies Beredin."
Wisely, Beredin merely nodded his head. he could see that Noerdeber was still too close to exploding in further rage.
As for Kobus, he just sighed inside, disappointed to see the temper of his king have him disregard his attempt at wise counsel.
