Paying UpA Chapter by Charles PetrieIt's getting bad for the as yet named man.I'd never handled a gun, let alone had one in my face, so I was very scared. Too scared to be nervous, so I finally did as the bad rabbit bad wanted, giving him my wallet, my watch I had just started wearing after years without wearing one and my grad ring. A costly day day to be sure.
"40.00$ human? That's all you have on you? That isn't enough human, I need more than that."
"What about the watch and the ring...sir" The words slipped out and I clamped my hands over my stupid mouth. This was not the time to be foolish with words.
The rabbit just looked at me. "Are you damaged human? You want to mouth off when I have a gun? That's just stupid." He looked at the gun and me, then back to the gun.
"I really don't mean to upset you Mr. Rabbit, but that is a nice watch and none too cheap graduation ring. Both of which are worth more than the 40.00$ in my wallet."
"Yes, but I need instant money, the rest just takes time to liquidate. And I expect more than 40.00$ from a human dressed as well as you are."
"Thanks Rabbit, you're dressed well too." Oh god, how stupid nervous am I that I'm chatting with my moneytaker.
The rabbit but glared Then quickly smiled As he found the card Of instant money And held it up Most quite triumphantly
"Holding out on me is not a good idea at all human. I found the card, now withdraw the maximum and do it quickly, I've no wish to be here any longer than I have to."
And the hapless man Silently swore For hard on times Had he fallen on And the amount at most That he could remove Was quite so more Than to his name That he had
"I really am sorry, Mr. Rabbit sir, but I can't help you much there. I'm rather broke in fact." ]
"That's too bad for you human, but I will take whatever I can get. Now get up and use the card, I am sorely tempted to shoot you. I trust that won't be necessary though."
Wisely so Despite his awful state The man withdrew Just all he could And glumly handed it over To the bad rabbit bad
"I hope you're happy rabbit, that was all the money I had left in my account. I'm completely broke now. Thanks."
"Another 80.00$ human? That is not enough." And the rabbit looked as if he was deciding my life then and there, which maybe he was.
"Well rabbit, that's all I have. So why don't you go now and leave me be, you've done enough harm."
What happened next So stunned and suprised The quiet others That they gapsed audibly As the rabbit grabbed the man And holstered his gun Then quickly took out Like a little flashlight Which he shone on the floor Before jumping on through
