What Kind Of Man

What Kind Of Man

A Poem by Charles Petrie
"

An appreciation of myself

"

What Kind Of Man

Surrounded by beauty I rarely see

What kind of man I be

Oh the kind of man

Who long so ago

Yes a lifetime before

Thought the less of me

Nay not the more

And in their seeing wise

The ladies most I sought

They like so said

If this is what he thinks

Than who are we to disagree

So loser stand aside

Make way for another

He's surely better than you

And though so now

What I'd differently do

And unlike say

Would lead me elsewhere

Maybe better than this

All that I was 'til now

Has made me what I am

So what kind of man I be

Merely just a man of poetry

And many other ways of words

THus maybe quite

As I'm here tonight

This is the was

I needed to take

Physical beauty guys. The kind to like. And I'd tell you where to find it...if I knew where I lived. That's a joke of course. I know where I live and you don't need my help with the ladies.
