The Foolish Relevance of Love

The Foolish Relevance of Love

A Poem by J.Sin
"

2017.11.06 A love poem written for my perfect storm.

"

You are my

Sweet demolition.

The flawless artistry of your

Apocalyptic kiss,

Your touch,

A riot rampaging across my skin,

Your eyes

            Mesmerize,

And with your every smile I run a gauntlet

            Of torment,

            And want.

Thoughts of you are

Insomnia’s cheerleader

And I gladly embrace it.

Yet,

We are two hearts existing

In different storms.

Omnipotent,

Cataclysmic,

But… benevolent

And I fear

If we were to join

It would mean

The end.

So these days I hold an ice-cold pistol to my heart,

Bury my dreams in the coma of oblivion,

And forget that

I ever had

You.
