I See the HumanityA Poem by Jason van DongenA poem about the MH17 disaster.
I see the humanity,
There, inside my heart, As the flight from Amsterdam, Readies to depart. I see the humanity, On their journey sped. I see near three hundred souls, Flying overhead. I see the humanity, But I cannot say, It loud enough to be heard, On the ground that day. I see the humanity, Falling from the sky; As I do, I hear the world, All about me cry. I see the humanity, Touch near e'ry heart, This I see from where I watch, There, inside my heart. © 2014 Jason van Dongen |
