Sooner

Sooner

A Poem by Jason Shadows
"

When?

"
"Take My Hand Into My Forbidden Desire.
 Come Completely Surrounded By Fire.
Love Burned In The Heart Asunder.
Hate Slithers Like A Snake In Plunder.

Time Tells How It All Resets.
 No Moment To Rest.
Under The Pain Of Past Regrets.
 Abandon In Lust And Depressed.

 Follow The Foolish.
 Let Memories Be Polished.
 Slip By The Devil's Beckoning.
The Divine Can't Save You From Aging.

 So Little Time To React.
For Its A Small Window To Backtrack.
To A Time Where You Stood Still.
Looking Down Into The Darkness Downhill.

And You Took That Step Down.
Waking Up To So Many Demons Around.
In The Dark All Alone To Fight Many.
 To Remove The Endless Misery.

But In That Instant You Cry To Have A Wonder.
How Will You Make It Back Where Its Higher?
There Is A Secret Question That Must Fissure.
Did You Really Hope That You Would Be Saved Sooner?

this is deeply detailed and the frustration and depression is captured and depicted clearly. This is a dark tale that is spun from inside emotions and thoughts.
