Hi, there. I'm not sure if I've ever read this type of writing before, and I'm pretty sure this is what's known as lyrical prose. It's not my favorite style, but I did like your concept in this one; it's very powerful, and you paint a beautiful picture.

I really got a sense of the narrator, and the penultimate (paragraph? stanza?) was my favorite for the imagery, and the all-encompassing idea seemed to fit in four lines.

Great work, and I think I will open my reading interests to include this type of writing.
