Twisted MetalA Poem by Jason ShadowsThe road ahead is a long one indeed.
"Drive...keep driving toward the sun
over the hill into the unknown we go. (Stay) Safe...we don't care...we just need the thrill of the hunt...the hunt for you. (On) The path of the destroyer sees nothing but red and it is so satisfying to the look. (The) Thoughts go out the door...now I see moments flash by has the screaming starts. (Path) Less the struggle the better the pain becomes tighten the rope and you will see there is no hope. (For) We can hear the cries of those who run and flee and the vultures swirl about waiting on the left overs. (There) Broken and no dreams left...we run again force the madness and the carnage will start. (Is) Away out? sure just don't die in the lightning storm winds of the desert beat against the windows of tomorrow. (No) More the faster we go the quicker we can catch those who seem to be afraid of all this twisted metal hell. (Escape) No there is none so don't look back for we are behind you all the way over the city's meltdown...Let the games begin.
