Leave Without A Memory.

"I reach for the wheel to turn my heart 

 just simple enough to leave the darkness.

 Again for another second to remain in

 loves arms to embrace the once forsaken.

 Moon light brings such moments in solitude 

 while the footsteps leads into my own hell.

 Escaping from distant pain just for the moment 

 can render me away with thoughts that leeks.

 Such anger passes me by smiling into the wind

 staying to walk in the doors to the light to see you.

 Forbidden to enter the gates of our heaven 

 i stand at them hoping to see you again.

 My heart maybe is dark but it beats slowly 

 so that i can reach for your love again.

  

 I burn while in the light as the smell reminds 

 me of once being human just like the rest.

 Pulling on hopes rope to look up and feel

 what i can't have again because of my greed.

 Immortal i may be but it can't stop me 

 from hearing your words that i can't die.

 Not until love touches the darkness within

 my heart then if so it proves that i cannot live. 

 Yet i can't feel what is lost when i can't feel hope

 when it takes me again (The Dark) i can't stop dying." 

 'Command my memory to remain in the heart i can't touch.'

Dark with strong sad emotion but there are moments that were sweet....great job :)
