'Prozac Girl'

'Prozac Girl'

A Poem by Jason S Breed

‘PROZAC GIRL.’ By Jason S Breed

1st VERSE
Thought that’s a riddle,
Thought that never rhymes
Caught in the middle of her mind,
Thought of nothing can be done
Caught in the middle of her mind,
Calling my love is blind
Let’s sit here listen to her cries
Of my pill popping girl

CHORUS
Stuck in the middle with my Prozac Girl,
Stuck in the riddle of my Prozac Girl.

2nd VERSE
Thoughts that conclude
Thoughts that delude
Tipped by the waves of lies
Thought of nothing can be done
Tipped by the waves of lies
She makes me feel alive,
I’m sticking by the side
Of my pill popping girl

CHORUS
Stuck in the middle with my Prozac Girl
Stuck in the riddle of my Prozac Girl.
Stuck in the middle with nowhere to go
Simply my baby rattles not rolls.

SOLO

CHORUS REPRISE
Stuck in the middle with my Prozac Girl,
Stuck in the riddle of my Prozac Girl,
Stuck in the middle with nowhere to go,
Simply my baby rattles not rolls
Simply my girl needs to hold on
Simply she rattles not rolls.
Now my baby rattles instead of rolls,
That’s why I’m bringing the Prozac home.
