'Go Away.'

'Go Away.'

A Poem by Jason S Breed

1st VERSE
In the dead of night
I dont want to communicate
Dreaming on, on

Talking across the wire
They had sent you to sleep
To do work upon my soul

Back in the lie
For the children tell the demons
To make you laugh

CHORUS
Tonight
The city
Can go away
Down across the wire
The city
Can go away
Those loving eyes
Please dont you
Go away

2nd VERSE
The mixture of the peasant
Gonna steal you a bed
But with luck youre better off dead
To me

The commissar of ordeal
Sits on his great, high throne
Go, Go
Tear him down

Working at your life
The audience is made to wait
As the steeple falls

CHORUS
Tonight
The city
Can go away
Down across the wire
The city
Can go away
Those loving eyes
Please dont you
Go away

3rd VERSE
Aching your eyes
Bullet theory
Lead you
To war

But all the open letters
Drag you down
Legion opens the door

With the devil
Laughing at your side
When the jaded
Fall down

CHORUS
Tonight
The city
Can go away
Down across the wire
The city
Can go away
Those loving eyes
Please dont you
Go away

ENDING:
Pump my ride
Warn the ghost
Pump my ride
Warn the ghost
Pump my ride
Warn the ghost
Pump my ride
Warn the ghost
