'Bad Substitute & Jason's Tart Have Finally Done it! - They've Got Marred!'

A Poem by Jason S Breed
"

My wedding speech that was read out at my reception. It was the finest day of my life - I finally married my goddess who is now my wife.

"
Welcome to everyone for coming to this celebration,
We are here today to mark this momentous occasion,
As youve already guessed
This speech is a poetic jest.

Lets start by thanking Jim for giving her away,
As your new son-in-law - you have certainly made my day,
By producing such a creature as beautiful as this,
For one that I will for an eternity kiss.

Now to David who is having a case of dj vu,
As another wedding speech looms with the same affect as a Vindaloo.
For hes had to be my best man not once but twice,
This time Dave its most certainly and most defiantly for life!

Now to Dee, The gorgeous bridesmaid who looks fantastic as youll all agree,
Like some beautiful siren tempting you out to sea.
From start to finish she has been our rock
And no your arse does not look big in that wonderful frock.

On to Maia, Gaby & Abbie - thank you for being here for us,
These past few months this wedding has caused a large amount of fuss.
All three looking so angelic - you have made us both proud,
We are glad you are here in our merry crowd.

Now this is the main part of my song and dance
And please, ladies and gentlemen - raise your glass.

To my wife,
my deity,
my goddess,
my life.

You look radiant, I am eclipsed by your light.

My sun,
my moon,
my heaven,
my hell.

Please raise your glass and wish her well.

Now meeting takes us back to one momentous ball.
Done for Waitrose partners - one and all.
Under spotlight we met and a fleeting glance,
That one occasion had us entranced.

Something struck us both that day
That had no inclination of going away.
A bond so strong though others strove us to part
With both our arms wrapped around each others heart.

So off to Uffington - in pouring rain, To an ancient monument galloping across the plain.
So by White Horse and on bended knee, We asked each other to beseech thee.
Exchange of rings and ancient spells, Now bind us to those ancient fells.

So now we bring you all into our life,
To celebrate with us this very night.
With Isac Hunt and others on par
Please do stay and dont rush out to the car!
