'Wastelands'

'Wastelands'

A Poem by Jason S Breed

Industrial world,
Reclaimed by a green hand.

Clawed,
Gnawed,
Ignored,

Reclaimed,
Unwanted and confused,
Discarded and misused,

Society leaves me,
In distress,
No help,
Or self regret,

Need time to think,
Need time to lose,
Jump head first,
Into the stew.
