'The Tide Of Change'A Poem by Jason S Breed
When you speak without implication
The ripple from the stone thrown Can cause tsunami to the scale That only can undermine the views And position of the moment. On this, the cyclops girl put her Hand out and repelled the tide Against her. The oyster being bitter at her pearl Being lost in the tide of change Looked at ways to blacken the pearl But the cyclops girl is the firm And sole possessor. The pearl no matter on how many Stones thrown will only remain In possession of the Cyclops girl. Having being happy in the possession Of a creature of such beauty. © 2008 Jason S Breed |
