'The Duvet Will Never Be Safe'A Poem by Jason S Breed
Im back, screamed the disease,
His minds eye focused on the period of being lost in the wilderness. The woman with the windows to her soul Walked avidly through the creaks above his head. The sound of her moving, Opening draws and cupboards in search of clothes To cover her beautiful and fragile frame. The duvet was left disturbed and bewildered, Having been discarded and alone on the bedroom floor. The period of silence through a flicker in the fabric of time sat down, Focusing upon the future through the smoke of the cigarette Burning in his hand and with a whisper She said Lets go to bed! © 2008 Jason S Breed |
