What Do We Know?!?

What Do We Know?!?

A Poem by NightShade

The circumambulations of pedagogues in their
temples of information packets offer no pleasing
fragrance of illumination for we who seek patterns
in absolute awe of Chaotic splendor

Many declare laws in morose theologies
still proclaiming that the Great Cosmic Wow!
may be defined in the simple elegance of equal
divisions dreamed up before the common era

I happened on Ganesha in my breakfast bowl this morning
only to have my toes clenched in the needle sharp dentures
of the rodent that carries plagues of self glorification
only to find that I am still a sucker for syrupy explanations

Every schizophrenic knows the harmony of numbers
and the surefire relationship between perception
and microcosmic actualities that splinter off into
a myriad of possible probabilities that sum over histories

Mercurial brooks mist violet ultra-violence that add hue
to the pallor of asphodel fields ensuring forgetfulness
of well known secret names through which we seek
to limit infinite boundaries of self mortification

Uncle Al was a Crow in the ley of corn holes
and pointed out that when one changes any part
of anything, one changes the whole and it's all
interconnected so change is the only constant

From quarks to quasars, we've mastered censorship
of Emerald Tablets left by thrice great chemists of mind
and few dare to seek beyond hallowed halls of torture
No one hearkens to mavericks that may re-evolutionize progress

We are all zygotes of four elemental helix constructs
determined by unknowns and who wants to admit
that the certainty of Uncertainty CERTAINLY applies
when we can disavow ourselves of the fornication of doubt?..

The more things change, the more they stay the same . . . the only sane, solid truth is insanity, and the only way to drive yourself mad is to seek all the answers and the "meaning of life." You won't find it. Men have tried, in vain, since the dawn of time. They all ended the same. The only answers you'll ever find are in God's Word . . . all other wisdom fails.

Bringing commotion to what is sacred by a teacher can be seen as storing up wrath for oneself especially if any direction given of why having done so has a foundation upon sand bringing no understanding but demanding obedience. Such acts are tyranny. All the while when question do arise a simple shut up and obey attitude can lose a following so often time we seek to here something that conforms to our lives rather than us conforming to a proper doctrine. The only thing we can know is that we dont know the answers and history repeats itself so there will be many that manipulate the weak because if the very fact that only change is constant and because of that change they will look for comfort even if it leads to a slaughter. Great Work Poet.

This isn't weird. This is a piece that Maynard James Keenan would probably have to reread a few times. I love it.

Yeees!!! You are my dictionary. xD
I really loved the...weirdness to this. Like, not in a bad way. But more like I'm getting to see whats flowing through your mind. "WE are all zygotes of four elemental helix constructs". That is a piece of genius, my friend.
