SocietyA Poem by Jasnil ChandMessage about how everyone is always there to judge you for doing something you want
Have you ever felt suffocated?
By opinions and judgements that you hated. Pressurized and haunted. Also by people getting taunted. Don't I have any rights? My mind says there is no use of these fights. All their fingers pointing at me. Leave me alone, let me be. Where were the people when I had no one? Petty rumours about me are no fun. Be mindful of what people might say. A part of me kept dying each day. Don't blame me for a heart of stone. The reasons for that should be known. You judged every move I made. At a time of distress, there was no aid. Why am I still being hunted? Haven't I done everything society wanted? © 2019 Jasnil ChandAuthor's Note
