The goodbye

The goodbye

A Poem by Lacey
"

this is about my mother passing.

"
I came one last time to say good-bye, but my appearance fell on blind eyes.
I said I loved you again for you to hear, but my words fell on deaf ears.
I was asked to tell you it was OK to go,
So I did even as my heart begged me to say no.
So if you ask, I will not lie.
The hardest part is saying good-bye.

Gee
Sometimes it is better to let go than to keep because we love too much.
In Europe now euthanasia is becoming, slowly, more popular. Why would anybody want to watch a loved one suffer.
I'm so sorry for your loss Lacy.
If not still to raw a poem I posted called " A Mothers Passing" might appeal to you.
Good morning.

There is no easy way through bereavement. This work captures that pain perfectly. Well done.
