You

You

A Poem by Jasmin

I see faces down these cobbled stone street,
Only, faces I did not long to see.
Wish that I can see a glance
On the face I set my eyes to see.

The fragrance that I long to smell,
Familiar scent that brings back memories.
Brings back elation to this longing
That is taking now for so long.

Your eyes, the only eyes I can gaze upon
For with a sudden
I am lost track of time
For with your eyes
I can see the future of you and mine.

For with your voice that I long to hear,
Your voice that calms my weary mind.
For your whispers are my ecstasy,
Reality turning into fantasy.

With your lips I long to kiss,
Giving me sweet nothings.
Forever lost in your endless reverie.
For with you I can easily get lost,
For without, I am mostly lost.

This summer afternoon,
By cafe bijou.
Along the cobbled stone street.
I long to see YOU.

Your very welcome.
This is a different kind of comfort;

For with your voice that I long to hear,
Your voice that calms my weary mind.

keep on...
