Old Memory

Old Memory

A Poem by Jasmin

You got my mind
Wrapped in your sublime reality.
The echoes of your existence
Into nothingness
Vanishing the light that blinded me.

For your wisps of your decaying soul
That trapped me into this illusion
I do not want to be
Neither wanted to keep.

While your presence still remain
Your voice still resounding through the rain
And even through my sunshine
You still remain.

And so I surrender
keeping you away forever.
If you want to stay
My mind will always be here
To feel this agony
That still lingers.

Thank you cor.empire for the review!
Memories of love can be so painful to let go. And even so they never truly leave because they will always linger in your heart. That is part of loving someone so much. Thank you Jasmin for sharing your poem.
