Beak-up III

Beak-up III

A Poem by Jasmijn

Strolling down the path of
sadness
is too familiar for me

I know it blindly

On the right
broken tears
dripping
next to the blurry eyes of
disbelief

On the left
unspoken words
of heartache and fatigue
crawling onto
withered flowers of
loneliness

And just in front of you is your
collapsed house
of memories
in the body and soul
you are longing for
craving for

But is also the one
responsible
for the never ending path of hurt
you are walking
alone

Another sad tale of heartache as erstwhile lovers break up. You capture such emotions sharply. Did you not mean "On the right broken tears"?

Some are blindsided by life, others KNOW it's happening AS it happens but just can't DO anything ...BUT the "Why?" is seldom realized, recognized, or even addressed even afterwards.
