Space

Space

A Poem by Jasmijn

We have the same moon

watching over us

even if we’re a million miles

from where we need to be

I know you’ll be safe

I can almost touch you

we both look at the same

cosmos

every night when we go to sleep

we get kissed by the same

stars

every night

the milky way has hope for us

he holds our hands

when we are afraid

that the space that’s

in between

our love

can’t survive

but the planets believe

that our colors

shine brighter than

Saturn

yep i have often looked up at the stars or the moon or the sky and the sun and just realised the same that they are seeing the same stars however far away they are it brings you closer in distance. You conveyed this well in your lovely poem and I thank you for entry into my competition, good luck
