Million miles

Million miles

A Poem by Jasmijn
"

When the world can't stop you from loving so hard and you feel like you might make it even if you need a plane to hold your loved one.

"
I lost myself
somewhere in the journey
in the beauty of the unknown
in the happiness that surrounded me

I ache for your
fingerprints on my body
for your kisses
as much as there are miles between us

The moon is mocking
even the stars roll their eyes
but honey
the sun is longing for a love like
this

An if they could
our continents would crawl
slowly but completely
into each other
to bring us close
and make it bearable

And in the morning
when the sun is bursting into tears
yellow, pink, orange and red ones
out of fear of what might come

We will be okay
and we will proof the universe
wrong
