Welcome to Salvation

"Welcome to Salvation", is what the people say,

"Welcome to Salvation", what they look forward to everyday.

Welcome to Salvation", the words on everyone's breath,

It’s what they hold on to throughout life, until death.

A new paradise, filled with caring and love,

And for the hopefuls, just one step away from above.

A Sanctuary for those with goodness in their hearts,

A world in itself, and with that, apart.

A place that will feed you when you’re filled with hunger,

A place that will heal you when your brain's torn asunder.

With today’s Malevolence and Dictatorships that overpower,

It's like an animal inside your Flesh, that will soon devour,

Your brain, body, mind it eats whole,

Digesting you slowly, and then shitting your soul.

All these men speaking words with no meaning,

Propaganda, Missiles, men and women screaming.

Your mind becomes infected with this social disease,

People filled with pain quickly turn to diocese.

There’s no way to stop it, and no way to help,

It flows through you like a virus, making your DNA melt.

Try and bottle up the pain that forever torments you,

But it only gets worse as the Darkness prevents you,

From finding the light that will save your Humanity,

It will save your dignity, and repel insanity.

So in a final effort to escape this madness,

To shoulder away this impending sadness,

The people were offered a chance to repent,

Escape retribution, the Final Lament.

This offer was simply to join their "Institution",

A place meant to shelter, much like a w***e with prostitution.

And so as you reach your final destination,

A chance to escape your social deprivation,

Only to find that this place is meant for Immolation,

And as you pass through the gates, you read,

"Welcome to Salvation"

Author's Note

I wanted to keep a good rythm with it and try and get through a story.
