The Flower Weeps

The Flower Weeps

A Poem by J.R Schlievert
"

thank you for reading :)

"

A petal of a flower gently hit the grassy ground below.
Its silky, velvety fabric floats so carelessly in the breeze
As it contacts the ground, it imprints its self in the gentle, sponge like grass
Where it sits forever, until a force of wind sweeps it off for a ride to the unknown

The flower cries of the pour little petal
Like a mother of a missing child
The flower cannot do anything
Its helpless

As the petal rides, the world seems to be more open to it
The vast landscape of the meadows
Hill enshrouded with a green coat
Trees as tall as the white mountains in the great distance

The petal is also watching the birds flying and talking in the everlasting sun
One bird swoops down and catches the pedal in its hard beak
The bird flies in the other direction of the chilly wind
And places the petal next to the weeping flower

The flower is forever grateful to the little blue bird
The brilliant orange color of the flower turned even brighter
And now, the bird sits next to the flower
Until the last grain of sand form the big hourglass in the sky is left

As always, you give a certain beauty to each poem, sweetness that couldn't be written about and a lovely ending, stories are made from poems like these, keep writing :)

Great Write!

hmmm i like this. The only problem with it, though, is that you spelled petal as in the flower thing as pedal as in a bike pedal. Other than that I really liked it.
