a Girl in a White Dress Beckons Me

a Girl in a White Dress Beckons Me

A Poem by Jargyn

A girl in a white dress beckons me-
like the wind she beckons my hair
like a crash she beckons my eyes
like a dance she beckons my flair
like a song she beckons my cries

A girl in a white dress hangs over me
like a wrinkle in finality
and until the day she comes to me
I'll coarse through my days incomplete

This is interesting. This girl in white seems to have a grasp over the person. It seems as if she is a mystery to the person, perhaps that's why she wears white? When I read this, I pictured the person trying to find this girl in white from the line " like a crash she beckons my eyes" and "and until the day she comes to me I'll coarse through my days incomplete." I also liked the repetition of the word "beckons" it just sounded really good with the flow of the poem.
