Seventeen

Seventeen

A Poem by Mr. Henley
"

A little short something cause I'm feeling kinda emotional and have the desire to write...

"

Seventeen, seventeen,

I almost never came to see seventeen.

I fought death for some reason,

Of which I do not know,

Because never have I felt more dead,

Or thought life as such a foe.

Mr. Henley
Thoughts on the AABCBC rhyme-scheme? Robert Burns used it in "To a Mouse".
