Memories

When we finished breakfast I learned a little more about my children. After an hour or two I heard a knock at the door.
"Honey! Can get the door! Thanks!" I shouted
"Ok John!" She shouted from down the hall. I saw her leave the room she was in than disappear from view.
"It's for you John!"
"Ok ill be right there! Kids can you go get mu crutches there in the closet... Thank you. Daddy will be right back" I got up from the couch and proceeded down the hallway and took a left at the end and enters the dining room and across the room was the door with the man in the black suit.
"Honey go and play with the kids I need to talk with this man. Thanks" I left the house and closed the front door. "Ok how do you know where I live?"
"Because I was one of your many friends. You would always call us over to have parties. And I'm here because the command needs you today."
"Ok so you knew I had kids"
"Yes"
"Fine. I'll go. Let me just say bye to the wife and kids."
"Everyone has to. See you when you come back." I enters the home and went to the living room.
"Honey I need to leave with that man. I will be back later ok?"
"I don't want you to leave yet! You haven't even been home for a day!"
"I know. I love you. And for you kids, come give daddy a hug! I will see you later ok? I love you guys."

I left the house with my crutches. I then enters the mans car. We where off.
"How long will it take?" I asked
"At most 2-3 days, least 2-3 hours" he answered
"Let's hope for 2-3 hours." I sat in the car waiting, and waiting, just waiting.

"We're here." He woke me up.
"This is just a house!"
"That's just camouflage, everything is within and underground."
"Alright. You lead the way." We entered the building. I was looking around while the man went somewhere. The floor started to vibrate. Slowly but surely.
"Ok just stand in the middle of the circle and you will be good. We are going down."
"This is an Elevater!!!!"
"Yes." It took a few minuits for the fairly large and slow elevator to lower to the floor.
"What's that?" I asked pointing at a machine in the middle of this quite large room.
"That is what you will be entering today."
"I've got a bad feeling about something. Will this be at all painful?"
"Don't ask me ask them." He pointed at a small rag-tag team of scientists.
"Will this be at all painfu?" I asked again
"Mabye" answered a scientist "only if your memories are painful to you. We can only observe the results."
"Wonderful. Just absolutely wonderful! I'm going to die, isent it that? I'm going to die."
"Sir your not going to die."
"You don't get it. I don't know if there painful. I don't have any memories."
"Sir, you do have memories, there just hidden from you."
"First, stop calling me sir, it... It just bugs me for some reason. Second how can MY memories be hidden?"
"We don't know exactly. Maybe perminant concussion? What ever it is his machine can fix. And what do you want us to call you than?"
"Just call me John."
"Ok John. Um... This way than." He led me to the machine and strapped me in than closed the door. "We will now star the process." I saw a blinding flash.

"Hay man great wedding!" Someone said
"Ya this is great!"
"Congratulations, John. I always knew my son would choose well"
"Thanks dad. Hope that cake won't go straight to you gut."
"Don't worry about it John. It's your special day."
"Thanks dad. I hope you'll have a good time." I walked around. Eyeing my friends and family, catching up on old times. Than I saw her. She was in a gorgeous wite wedding dress with the most perfect face wit honeydew hair pulled behind her head.
"Hay honey, your looking handsome" Julie said than she gave me a kiss. I saw a nother bright flash, I was back in the machine.
" sorry to intrude on you wedding day, but I forgot to say that your memories are in no sort of order. Something went wrong with that part of this so bye!" Another flash.

"YOU WILL DO EXACTLY WHAT I SAY IF YOU WISH TO PASS!!!" Yelled the drill instructor. I was in boot camp, the first day, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!!!"
"SIR YES SIR" we all chanted in harmony.
"YOU WILL RUN FIVE LAPS AROUND THIS BASE AND MEET ME HERE! NOW GO!!" He squad ran Around and met up in the middle, everyone exhausted but one person, me.
"Why arn't you tired? That was five miles!"
"Sir, I ran at the least ten miles back home."
"WE'LL RUN AROUND THE BASE TILL YOUR TIRED THAN!!!"
"SIR YES SIR" I ran around for what felt like hours. When I couldn't go any longer I went to the group. "Sir I'm exhausted."
"How many laps did you run?"
"Um... Twenty-five times I believe sir."
"DAMN!! I can run thirty at most. All right go to bed I will see you at 0300 tomorrow."
"Yes sir"
The next day we where assigned units of twenty people to work with. I was assigned to recon. Yesterday's drill instructor was the same for my units. Or in diffrent terms he was our boss. Yay.

Throughout the time I was there I was the top performer in everything I was also the one who got in most trouble even though it was minor things. Flash.
"You have been promoted to squad leader choose you squad."
"Sir I would like to request one marks man, one explosivs expert, and one weapons expert."
"Granted, shal I choose the squad members?"
"Sir I would like to choose."
"Granted"
"I would like to request Sargent Susan 'jewls' Jonson as my marksman, lutinenant Johnny Jackson as me explosivs expert, and Joey jackobs as my weapons expers."
"Granted. You and your team will go on a test run agents other teams by the end of the month. You are to train with them and eat with them and sleep with them. Understood?"
"Sir yes sir" I left the building to find my team waiting. They where all friends, with each other and with me. I explained what needed to happen and what what going to happen. By the months end my team was ready because if we fail this we don't pass that last day of bold camp.

Jewls positioned herself in a spot where she could see the entire battle feald yet had enough cover. The rest of us waited intil the doors opened. Once they did the three of us spread out so we could flank the enemy team. We where marked. Ether red or blue. We where blue. The reds had two weapons experts and one explosivs expert, bad mix, they looked as if the where bees with out a queen. A disorganized bundle. I orders Johnny to create a diversion, easy... Toss a flashbang behind some cover, draw them in. They came in as planned. I orderd our entire troop to attack everyone was 'dead', technicaly just merely stunned. But we had won. We passed. Flash.

Throughout the day I learned that I got promoted to captin, was stationed all over the world and was coming up to the present. Flash.

Jewls watched as I was shot. Once, twice, three times, four, five, i fell onto the floor still determined to accomplish my mission. She watched dreadfully because she was supposed to cover this my, for after all she was a marksman, trained to use the sniper. But she watched as her I, laying on the floor unable to do anything but fight, was dying. Jewls realized that she forgot to give me the satellite phone. She called for reinforcements as I fell into unconsciousness. She watched them come up and continuesly kick and hit me. She watched as Johnny and Joey rushed to the scene shooting them.
When the helicopter arrived it loaded on my entire squad everyone was worried. As the helicopter landed at the base the medic crew rushed over and bring me to the med station. Flash.
He was back in the hospital room. Flash again. He was back in the machine.
