The Awakening

She watched as he was shot. Once, twice, three times, four, five, he fell onto the floor still determined to accomplish his mission. She watched dreadfully because she was supposed to cover this man, for after all she was a marksman, trained to use the sniper. But she watched as her comrade, laying on the floor unable to do anything but fight, was dying. She realized that she forgot to give him the satellite phone. She called for reinforcements as he fell into unconsciousness.

He awoke. Startled at the confusion of not knowing his location, he spied a door then a button on the table next to him. 'Where am I?' he thought as he pressed the button.
'Who am I?' A nurse walked in.
" oh! Mr. John. Y-your awake!!" The nurse exclaimed, she seemed very surprised "I'll get the doctor." John was still curious. 'So that's my name' he thought 'John' the doctor entered the room.
"Good after noon John!! How delightful!! You woke up earlier than expected." The doctor said "I expect you would like to know what exactly happened to you." Not that the doc mentioned it John was feeling lots of pain. He hadn't even noticed the casts ether. "You where shot six times in the chest and led, you have a slight concussion, uhm... You have a broken arm and a fractured leg.... Your a very lucky person to survive that John. Your family was very worried that you wouldn't survive through the surgeries so get you fixed."
"Family?" He was confused. "May I ask who you are?"
"Oh yes of corse. You wife and kids will be coming here this afternoon for there weekly "check up" per say. Well for me. You can just call me Dr. Shuck." He said " I will come back within the hour to give you your medication. For now you can wach the TV on the wall. Bye bye now." He left the room. John was to confused to do anything so he grabbed the remote and turned on the TV.
He herd a knock at the door.
"John is that you?" Came a feminine voice
"Who are you and how do you know my name!!" John almost shouted. The door opened and she walked into the room.
"It's me honey. Your wife." She said sadly

ok i have a couple things. 1 your chapter is really short because the bow expands jared. 2 i cant wiat for the next chapter. and 3 w need to talk on friday at the firebird run its worrieing me and i think your the only one i can talk to about it
