State of Mind

A friend that has been single for a while keeps talking how she wants to be loved and instead of taking this time of solitude to reflect she is just not content with her state of mind

Terror stricken eyes

lonely standing in a world of hate

consumed from the inmortality here

this world will burn to ashes

and a phoenix must rise against

the discomfort is well known

the pain is written all over your face

you think you hide it well

but the truth is the last known address

now take off your dress

and bathe from the water above

submerge your hatred here

and bring forth my beautiful friend

all the joy that's in your heart

everything including your mind

take a look around you

I'm no longer found

but hatred will dwell within

unless you take it off again

and learn how to live

by your self again

loneliness is the cure

for the broken heart

you'll find happiness

with a different state of mind
