Mindless Chatter

Sometimes the day/night just suck

Mindless chatter 

I'm bound in sadness today

Looking at the cloudy sky

It reminds me of blue days

how I long to feel the heat again

Sad sad days for me 

I sit and wonder 

Of what it could have been.

 

I sense the tears building up

Like a water dam ready to give

I feel a tear running loose

My finger did not stop it on time

So I must let them be

Cause I can't hide this pain.

 

Sad cause I'm not me 

Being forced to be someone I detest to see.

I'm sad cause I can't see

What it was that was meant to be.

I’m sad cause I can’t have

The joy that I held inside.

Having a hard hard day  

No more words to say 

Just that I’m not feeling myself today
