Heavenly Sound

Missing you

An angel whispered in my ear 
all that glitters is here 
and i care so much for you 
and i miss you more then you care to know

The angel was speaking with a sweet melody 
that the words became a great symphony 
I wondered how it would be to hear her 
when everything is quiet in my lonely nights
but then i realized 
that her words do play in my heart

Words became images 
and images changed to words
I was spelled bound 
and tongue tied
as i hear her voice saying my name
I love the way she pronounces the words
and i like the way my heart skips a beat

The angel that i heard was you 
and I'm falling in a trance 
cause every time i hear you now 
I know I'm heaven bound
is good to know that i have you now 
and tomorrow i will survive somehow

i know you are taking a long trip
and your words i will long to hear 
so please when you get back to civilization 
send me your voice with the angel my dear  
so i may know that you are okay 
and not just flying in my head 

The angel was here again 
as i wrote this letter for you my friend
I'm glad that you send me your words 
heaven sounds oh so good 
heavenly sounds coming from you
