The Cycle of Grief

Loss begets grief,

a sorrowful embrace.

In seeking solace,

a new love takes its place.

A fragile blend

of pain and ardour intertwined.

Fear lurking close,

in shadows undefined.

Love and Fear,

a dance in endless motion.

Each loss endured,

an ocean of emotion.

But to break free,

must I cease to find anew?
Release the grip of grief,

and bid love adieu.

The loss of one's beloved

often leads to seeking a new embrace.

The new love is shaped by

the combination of the grief over the loss,

together with the love devoted to it.

When love and grief combine,

the fear of losing increases.

"The Love" and "The Fear"

reinforce each other consistently.

Eventually, another loss draws near,

and the impact of the coming grief

will be even more severe than before.

To liberate from the grief cycle,

should new love be forsaken?

Leaving behind the grief of loss

and waiting for time to heal the wounds?
