Memories of the journey

Each step taken,

My courage tested…
.  my soul never lost.
Through valleys deep
.  and mountains extreme,
I rose above,
.  reaching for my dreams.

Excitement in every flap
.  of my wings,
Freedom of melody,
.  my spirit sings.
Honouring the land
.  that shaped my quest,
With hope and esteem,
.  I seek the best.
