- My memories will never be flawed -

  When I spread my wings

and take to the air,

  I'll never forget the land

I once did fare.

  The memories of the earth below

will retain.

  The wind beneath my wings

is my gain.

  The clouds will be my pillow,

soft and light,

  The sun will shine upon my face,

warm and bright.

  I'll soar above the mountains,

high and wide,

  And feel the rush of freedom

as I glide.

  The ground below will still be

a distant view,

  As I ride the thermals,

feeling anew.

  I'll never forget the soil

I once walked by,

  For the memories of the earth

I will touch the sky.
